At Lean In Leeds we decided it was high time that we celebrated the incredible women in the Yorkshire region with our own Awards.

 

Our vision was to do something a little bit different than the other awards ceremonies out there. We want to shine a light on women at all ages and stages, especially those who aren't typically involved in conventional awards ceremonies.

We're lucky that this vision has been both shared and supported by the wonderful sponsors we've been able to partner with, and we're also delighted to be raising money for Smart Works, a charity completely aligned with our vision.

Lean in Leeds has been going for over 7 years, and we have over 1100 members of our community. We've run over 60 free events in Leeds and the surrounding areas, have a thriving mentoring scheme and are run entirely by volunteers. We welcome anybody who supports our primary focus of gender equality.
